1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Unseenapps regarding your use of the App. These Terms apply in addition to Google Play Store's Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, both of which are incorporated herein by reference.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. About the App
Contacts – Text, Phone Dailer is an Android productivity app that provides the following core features:
- 📒 Contacts Management – View, add, edit, and organize your device contacts
- 📞 Call Management – In-app dialer, call history, and incoming call handling
- 🚫 Call Blocking – Block spam, unknown, or unwanted callers using customizable rules
- 💬 SMS & MMS Messaging – Send, receive, and organize text messages and multimedia messages
- 🛡️ Spam Detection – On-device filtering to identify and block spam messages and calls
- 🔔 Notifications – Alerts for incoming calls, messages, and blocked activity
3. Eligibility
By using the App, you confirm that:
- You are at least 13 years of age (or the applicable digital age of consent in your country)
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- You are not prohibited from using the App under any applicable laws
- You are using the App only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes
4. License to Use
Subject to these Terms, Unseenapps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on a single Android device you own or control, strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use the App to build a competing product or service
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels in the App
- Use the App in any unlawful or unauthorized manner
5. Acceptable Use
By using the App, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to:
Use call or messaging features to harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm any individual.
Engage in fraud, phishing, scamming, illegal telemarketing, or any other unlawful activity via calls or messages.
Send unsolicited bulk messages (SMS spam) or place unsolicited automated calls.
Attempt to access or interfere with another user's device, data, or communications.
Impersonate any person, organization, or entity in calls or messages.
Use messaging features to distribute viruses, malware, or malicious links or attachments.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these rules.
6. Device Permissions & Default App Roles
To deliver core features, the App requires certain Android permissions including access to Contacts, Call Logs, Phone State, SMS/MMS, and Notifications. A full explanation of each permission is provided in our Privacy Policy.
The App may also request to be set as your default Phone App and/or default SMS App. You can grant or revoke these roles at any time through your Android device settings. Revoking certain permissions may limit or disable core App features.
7. Messaging Feature – Additional Terms
The App includes built-in SMS and MMS messaging. By using the messaging feature, you agree to the following additional terms:
- You are solely responsible for the content of messages you send using the App.
- You must comply with all applicable laws regarding electronic communications, including anti-spam laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM Act, TCPA in the US; CASL in Canada; applicable laws in your country).
- You must obtain any required consents before sending marketing or promotional messages to others.
- Message content is stored locally on your device. We do not access, read, or store your message content on our servers.
- We are not responsible for the delivery, loss, or interception of messages transmitted through the App.
- We are not liable for any charges (carrier SMS/MMS fees) incurred from your use of the messaging feature.
8. Call Blocking Feature – Additional Terms
The call blocking feature is provided as a convenience tool. By using it, you acknowledge:
- Call blocking accuracy depends on your device's capabilities and Android version.
- We cannot guarantee that all unwanted calls will be blocked or that no legitimate calls will be incorrectly blocked.
- You are responsible for reviewing and managing your block list to avoid unintended blocking of important calls.
- We are not liable for any missed calls, communications, or consequences resulting from the call blocking feature.
- Emergency calls (e.g., 911, 112) are never blocked by the App.
9. In-App Advertising
The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob and may include other advertising networks. By using the App, you acknowledge that:
- Ads are served using your anonymous Android Advertising ID — never your contacts, messages, or call data
- We do not control the specific ads displayed or the content of advertised products/services
- Displaying ads does not constitute our endorsement of any advertised product or service
- You can opt out of personalized ads through your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads)
10. Intellectual Property
All content within the App — including but not limited to the App name, logo, interface design, icons, code, and features — is the exclusive intellectual property of Unseenapps and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the App or its content. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any part of the App is strictly prohibited.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
We do not make any representations or warranties regarding:
- The accuracy or completeness of caller identification or spam detection results
- The reliability of call blocking in all scenarios
- Guaranteed delivery or receipt of SMS/MMS messages
- Compatibility with all Android devices or OS versions
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Unseenapps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, contacts, or messages
- Missed calls or communications due to call blocking
- Unauthorized access to your device or data by third parties
- SMS/MMS carrier charges incurred through use of the messaging feature
- Any damages arising from your reliance on the App's spam detection or caller identification
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
13. Third-Party Services & Links
The App integrates with third-party services (Google AdMob, Firebase). These services operate independently under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties. Links or references to third-party websites or services within the App do not constitute our endorsement of those services.
14. Termination
These Terms remain in effect as long as you use the App. You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or applicable laws. Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable laws in your country of residence. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts applicable in your region.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting within the App or the Google Play Store listing with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
